I got my new tarantula last night C: C: C: C: C;
Not sure of the gender but it'll be a girl for now haha
At least until she gets comfortable enough with me so I can check her pedipalp to see
if there are 'spurs' there. If there are then it's a boy.

Anyways my mom came home last night after work cause a customer who worked in the
exotic pet trade said he could get me a tarantula and kritter keeper for just $15
I was worried at first because I wanted to pick out the species myself and the gender but
it was a chilean rose-hair like I wanted and if you see it's head from a certain angle of light
it reflects pink hairs so I named her peach fuzz and then Princess Peach came to mind
and my friend Kittie said that would be her name so it is xD
She was in a small styrofoam container all day with no food or water so when she came
home I let her craw on my hand (her belly feels like teddy bear fluff!) and then I put
her in the tank that I had set up for her and she went straight to the water dish and
started drinking and I was like awww poor baby she was so thirsty D: so I let her drink
and 20 minutes later I look back and she was STILL drinking so I was like D: D: D:
and I put more water in her dish. I attempted to feed her a couple of times but she
either already ate this week or she's about to molt. The front of her abdomen is darkening
so that could be a sign. It's getting colder here so she's been huddling in front of the
heating pad for a while now. Her tank is here right between my chair and the wall so when I
get tired and lean back I can just stare at her xD I'm so happy I finally got her i've been
having dreams about having/getting one for the past 2 weeks.

edit: Yeah Peach might be a male....if that's the case (I gotta make sure later) then it's name will
be Frodo Baggins xD b/c he's short and hairy and lives in round little home in the ground. Also my
mom thinks the tarantula is so cute. I'm surprised that she actually finds it somewhat appealing. My
dad on the other hand lol he wants nothing to do with it. My mom has to force him to go take a look
at it haha.

Anyways when I get the time I might get to that character design tutorial thing I wanted to share
they're all based on pixar characters but they apply to animation in general.

Anyways here's a peak of one of the pictures. The seagulls were done by Jason Deamer who came to
my school last week with Pixar and gave us a lecture.
The color/lighting key above was done by Ralph Eggleston a great great great color key artist at
Pixar. All those pastel looking color keys you see from Pixar are probably all done by this guy.

I also watched like 5 pixar movies alone this month haha. I just have it on in the background
while I do homework. It's really inspiring.

EVERYBODY SCREAM

So Fridays I'm usually working all day but I was extremely tired and could not stay awake to do anything. I didn't have class either but I woke up early to go to school and attend their internship meeting and afterwards I went to the library to scan some of my work and I looked at the 'Art Of' books in the animation section and I scanned a bunch of those as well. I scanned The Incredibles, Finding Nemo and Up and found great character designs and thought I'd make a post later on how to design a character and I hope that will be useful to people.

So I came home and took a nap and when I woke up my friend, Natalie, had texted me asking If I wanted to go to Dland later that night and I was like well I have work to do...but I haven't see Nat in 5 months....hell why not. And it was so good to see her. She was my bestie in high school and I'm sad I don't get to see her as often anymore. But last night was great. Despite the OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF PEOPLE THERE LAST NIGHT. It was seriously so PACKED that people couldn't park at the Disneyland parking lot anymore but they reserved a spot for people wanting to go to Downtown Disney and we parked there. Sorry I don't have a lot of pics so you'll have to bear with me on this post....but i'll keep it short.

Basically I think it was a trick or treat night or something cause a bunch of kids came dressed up as disney characters. Nat and I went on Buzzlightyear's Astro Blasters, Haunted Mansion, and Splash Mountain and saw the first Fantasmic show of the night. And everywhere I went the place wreaked of either body odor or feet......WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE. Use deodarant please. It sucked sitting next to this guy while watching Fantasmic and having wind and mist blowing towards us and mixed with his B.O and I was just like DYING. And all the lines were RIDICULOUSLY long. Everything was an hour wait and Space Mountain was 100 minutes worth of waiting! That's an hour and forty minutes D': But we were able to get on some rides with shorter lines b/c a majority of the people in the park were watching Fantasmic and Natalie wanted to go on Splash Mountain so badly and I'm like....fine. It was a pretty warm night. And we take the most ridiculous picture ever! I ASKED HER WHAT POSE WE WERE GONNA MAKE AT THE DROP OFF POINT and she's like we should do this "NOOOOOO! WHY????" pose when we get a lot of people! and I had misheard her and thought she said that was the pose we were gonna do together and so when we took the picture I ended up being the only one on the boat making some ridiculous face AND NOT ONLY THAT but my neck looked so distorted that I looked like a Brontosaurus.

I don't update here as much as I'd like so this will be a huge picture post haha BE WARNED.

Last week it was insect and arachnid day in my dynamic sketching class so the teacher brought in his son's two pets; a spider and scorpion.

Recently I've been thinking of what it would be like to handle a tarantula. I wasn't too fond of them before but I didn't really have a reason to dislike them because I do like spiders so I was like...well...what if I met one...would I like them then? AND I DID. I fell in love with them.

BOO!

The Chilean rose hair tarantula was very nice. She'd sit on my hand and I carried her back to my desk and pretty much cuddled her for most of the class.

He also brought in an emperor scorpion. She too was calm. She was a little more paranoid than the spider though. We let her walk around on the table and she snuck into the teacher's camera case where it was nice and dark haha.

So yeah I went to the Geisha House in Hollywood a few weeks ago for the naked sushi party. It was really awesome. It was in a small lounge area separate from the restaurant and they had a bartender in the corner and it was free for us so we were just drinking it up and the model was quite pretty and nice and you could talk to her if you'd like. They brought out sushi and put it on her and you grab what you want (the sushi, not her body parts lol) and then waiters would come around with food you eat with your hand like kabobs and there ended up being +30 guests and we all had an amazing time.

We had the kitchen in there with us as well. Well not kitchen..they're just preparing food.

A giant bday card was going around and my friend drew a naked geisha and i was like oh are we drawing naked chicks now? oh it's on and i drew a naked sexla and people kept asking if that was me and I was like WHAT? NO WAY THIS IS MY CHARACTER and no one believed me ;__; everybody thought I was drawing myself...

Afterwards we walked over to a 21 and over club/lounge across the street and danced a bit and we all just crashed on the couches we were all pretty much dead tired haha it was really fun though.

Oh! And I got to go to Dland with my friend Kelly. I wanted to see the halloween decorations and see the new firework show and Space Mountain ride. The Space Mountain ride was kinda cool...I'll post a video of it under the cut. The firework show wasn't..anything special. As my friend described it...it was basically Halloween + The Jonas Brothers + Hannah Montana. So sad but true. They played "This is Halloween", "Poor Unfortunate Souls" and some other songs and they were basically pop rock versions of them. The only cool part of the firework show was the giant ball that appeared by the castle and they projected Jack Skellington's head on it so he could talk to us. That and Zero flying over the castle. But the Haunted Mansion decorated with The Nightmare Before Christmas characters was still the best. It never ceases to impress me every year. The exterior of the mansion is soooooo amazing as is the inside.

The firework show in 30 seconds.

I went to the tidepool and marshland last week with my Ocean Science class. I brought along Kelly and we just geeked out every time we saw a living creature.

a june bug, not a sea creature but it landed on my head haha and then kelly snatched it off and it sat on her hand for a while and became quite popular as everyone tried to take pictures of him.

There wasn't too much to see at the swamps. We saw some ducks and small mollusks and then we went to the educational center they had there and they had an aquarium with some fish and a sting ray and they had a learning center with toads, salamanders, tarantulas, and snakes which are all animals you can find in the swamp.

Kelly and I found some puppets so we started playing with those haha. I was the snail and Kelly was the crab.

After that we drove to the beach and checked out the tidepools.

HNNGGGHHHHH DYING.

It's only the 3rd week of school and I'm already feeling dog-tired, zonked,
pooped, worn out, what ever way you wanna put it I'm beat. I have two 5 hour
studio classes and four 3 hour academics and about 15 hours of homework each week
plus the t.v. animation job I have on the side. I CAN SEE THE DARK CIRCLES UNDER MY
EYES I LOOK LIKE A PANDA.

I do like my classes though. Ocean Science is cool so far and we went on a field trip to
the aquarium last week and we're going to a tide pool in 2 weeks. Pacific Destiny is a'ight,
History of Entertainment is well entertaining C: We watched Sinbad this week and a bit of
Prince of Egypt. I LOVE THAT MOVIE SO MUCH I CRY EVERY TIME I WATCH IT.
And we got our semester project this week for Color & Story. We have to create characters,
backgrounds, and a color script for PRINCESS MONONOKE.
Last year I had to do Hunchback of Notre Dame haha. I haven't seen Mononoke yet and I hear it's
the best Miyazaki film and when I mentioned that to my friends all of them just gave me glares
and pretty much exploded in a WHAT? YOU HAVEN'T? OH MY GODDDDDDDDDDD. But i'll watch it this
weekend! My homework is based on it anyway...
Business 101 continues being a philosophy class and the teacher continues being awesome.
Dynamic Sketching is really fun, I should upload the project I did for it when I get the time.

So yeah on Saturday I'm going to my friend's birthday party in Hollywood. And it's a naked sushi
party. That's right. A NAKED SUSHI PARTY.
You basically eat sushi off a naked model which is something i've never done before so THIS SHOULD BE INTERESTING.
And like 30 people are going and after wards we might hit a club.

I miss Disneyland so much. Tomorrow they're doing the new Halloween firework shows and opening the
Halloween version of Space Mountain. D: Ughhh I was thinking about going tomorrow night but depends
on if I have the energy. Also Chris Sanders went last week and I'm pissed that I missed him at
Disneyland lol.

AND I FOUND THESE PICTURES OF CINDERELLA'S CASTLE IN DISNEYLAND PARIS. IT'S 10X PRETTIER THAN THE
SLEEPING BEAUTY CASTLE WE HAVE HERE. Also the fancy lights were for their 15th anniversary, we had
ours decorated like that for the 50th anniversary 2 years ago.

And lately my school had been under attack by GIANT BUGS. I love them though. The weather is still
really warm here in California so they like coming out at night and just stare at you as you walk past
them.

1st week of school

So Monday was Labor day so there was no class. But I have Ocean Science on Mondays and I'm really excited about that class. Can't wait to visit the tide pools and go to the aquarium.

Tuesday
Usually there are classes from 8am-1pm but there are also classes from 12pm-3pm. I was unfortunate to get the 12 o'clock class because it is IMPOSSIBLE to find parking. All the students who are in the 8-1 class have already filled up the parking lot and they don't leave till 1 so us 12 o'clock students can't get parking! At 12 they finally open the additional parking and I rush to class to find no one there but one student so I was like WOAH. AM I EARLY? And he was like is this Shou Wang
s class? And I'm like yeah I think it is. And we sit in our seats and waited for 10 minutes and nobody showed up not even the teacher so I was like...this isn't right. So I went next door and asked the instructor if this was Pacific Destiny and he was like yes and I was like UARGGGHHHHH THE PAPER TOLD ME TO GO TO THE WRONG CLASSROOM HNNGGGH. But he was very cool about it. He's such a funny and nerdy instructor haha.
After that class was over I had another class with the same teacher in the same room so I just chilled there for 30 minutes before my next class, History of Entertainment Design which is basically a film class, mainly focusing on CGI films and animation. We watched 2 hours of Behind the Scenes of Star Wars. It was awesome. There's two essays and no exams in the class. The first essay is about this French animation and what you think about it and the other essay......get this......is on Pixar's Ratatouille fdkjghdskfjhgdsklfjgdfg. Yes you have to talk about what you think about the story and the character design and such. BAW I DON'T THINK I'VE EVER BEEN SO HAPPY TO BE WRITING AN ESSAY BEFORE. Of course I'd be more excited if I was writing about Finding Nemo or Monsters Inc. but Ratatouille is good too.

Wednesday
Had Color & Story which i've taken before when it was still called Color Theory for Entertainment Arts with Richard Keyes. He is so nice he would never hurt a puppy! We just sat and listened to Richard talk for 4 and a half lecture on color, the teacher is an awesome guy though so I've never found anything he said to be boring. I can't wait for the character design part of the class though. Class ended an hour early at 12 and I didn't start my next class till 7 ASDFGHJKL;;;; so I stayed in the library with my laptop, called my client about our project and then didn't know what to doodle to pass the time so I went on Twitter and asked for suggestions lol. And here's what was suggested.

Cat- a cake, a sandwich, a sphinx, and a hummingbird/elephant/cheetah thing
Kittie- shirix and sexla
elijahbean- an orange and a dress...which..i.....combined into an orange...in a dress.
Uru- an elephant
Annie- Flounder and Stitch fighting? lol they're more like trying to intimidate each other.

Don't have time to color it but I might someday.

Then my friend Denny came by after his class and he was like I HAVEN'T SEEN YOU IN FOREVERRRRRRRRR and we hugged but i pretty much head-butted his chin cause we were just too excited. Then my friend Ben and Kay came by and we talked about classes. After they left my friend Eastwood saw me from outside the library then came in and sat next to me and when he looked at me he was like, "ELSA, YOU LOOK REALLY PRETTY TODAY." and I was like LOL and we were talking about how much of a bummer it is that we have classes at night cause we were missing our favorite t.v. shows xD
Then at 7 I went to my Business 101 class in the auditorium and we had Errol Gerson for our lecturer and he is INCREDIBLY funny. He's like the awesome Jewish uncle you never had! And his lectures were about starting your first business but at the same time it was like a philosophy class. His stories and mottos were all so touching that me and I'm sure a few of the 70 students in the class started tearing up and when the class had ended we all clapped. I've never had a class where the students clapped after a lecture. IT WAS THAT RESPONSIVE. So when I went home and retold the stories to my mom I could not stop crying and she hugged me ;____;

Thursday
Had a morning class with Norm Schureman called Dynamic Sketching and he was so nice and an AMAZING artist. Basically this class teaches you how to draw animals and vehicles correctly, realistically, and with structure. The best part is that you use pen to draw everything. No pencil or charcoal. So we're going to take A LOT of field trips. We're going to be going to the zoo, the aquarium, the military museum to draw tanks AND HE SAID WE'RE GOING INSIDE A TANK TOO, and the arboretum to draw botanics, and a vintage car museum, and maybe the natural history museum if the dinosaur exhibit is done remodeling. So in the class we introduce ourselves to the class by going to the white board, saying your name and hobby and then the teacher's assistant gives you an object or animal to draw and you have to draw it on the white board in 2 minutes lol. I got a human skull....I was like KDJHKSFJHGDKJGHDFKG but we've all drawn this 200 times when we first started art school.....why couldn't I have gotten like....a camel or a t-rex WHICH SOMEONE ELSE GOT I WAS SO PISSED. But no a human skull. I think I would have been more excited if it was a horse skull. But yeah while you're drawing on the white board the whole class has to draw the same object as well. I could draw all the animals that were given but I failed to hard when we had to draw boats, cars, and planes xD. The teacher saw the toad I drew and he was like NICE, YOU'RE GONNA LIKE THIS CLASS. Yes. Yes I will. Until we draw tanks and cars.
Then I'll shoot myself.
And then after class my crush who I haven't seen the whole summer saw me and came over and was like ELSA YOU LOOK REALLY NICE, I LIKE YOUR HAIR LIKE THAT and I was like skdjhdkfgddfghj C:
But yeah I've been wearing my hair down this whole week cause I usually tie it up in high pony tail so you don't actually know how long my hair is but yeah it's lonnng.

I'm sad our deers didn't great us this semester :C the fire must've drove them away. Usually this time of year we'd have like 10 wild deers on our campus eating the grass and just chillin'.

SHOUT OUTS! I'VE NEVER DONE A SHOUT OUT BUT TODAY I WILL.

To my friend Kittie, I LOVE YOU SO MUCH. YOU ARE SUCH A GREAT PERSON AND I WILL ALWAYS BE THERE FOR YOU. I THINK ABOUT YOU EVERYDAY AND YOU ALWAYS CHEER ME UP, I DON'T KNOW WHERE I'D BE WITHOUT YOU. YOU MEAN THE WORLD TO ME! I HOPE THAT WE GET TO SEE EACH OTHER NEXT SUMMER. THAT'S REALLY SOMETHING TO LOOK FORWARD TO. DON'T EVER CHANGE <3

So classes start for me tomorrow. Both excited and sad about it.
But I graduate in 2010 so I'm like AHHHHH! *arm flail*
I HOPE THE AIR HAS CLEARED UP. For those of you who've been
watching the news you know there's been some big fires on the hills near
Pasadena and Valencia so the air for the past 2 weeks around then has been well...not the best.
I took snaps of it from my house which is like 30+ miles away
from the fire and I could still see the smoke.

And the sky was RED around the sun. It was like being on mars.

I did my back to school cleaning where I clean my room from the mess of summer. But slowly
it will revert back to it's old messy state by the time school ends. Yeah so when school starts I'll
have less free time but I'll update when I can.

Has anybody started school yet? Does anybody likes/hate any of their classes already???

WELL GATHER'OUND MY POSSUM PALS JOIN THE JAMBOREEEEE

School starts next week so this will probably be my last Dland post for a few weeks. I'll miss going back that's for sure :C
I'm definitely going around Halloween for their ~special~ Halloween events.

Anyways

Wednesday:

Kelly and I went and picked up Robert around 4pm so we could use his parking pass.
When we got there we had dinner at DCA (Disneyland California Adventures) There's this restaurant that serves soup and salads in a sour
dough bread bowl and it's all pretty good. We couldn't finish our bread bowls so fed ours to the ducks lol. Then went to ride the wild rapids
cause it was so freaking hot we needed to cool down so bad.

We all got pretty wet but I stayed more dry than Robert and Kelly who had their more of their pants drenched haha. After that we went on one
more ride and then the park kicked us out cause they closed at 6pm that day. Well because a lot of students are back in school now Disneyland
is a lot let busy so the closing hours are shorter except for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when the closing hours are later. We went inside Dland
and went on Space Mountain and Buzz Lightyear AstroBlasters. And I had brought a sharpie so I could draw mustaches on our fingers so that
we can take a silly picture on Space Mountain xD Here's a mustache that I drew for Kelly.

So all three of us were running around with a mustache xD Robert already had a mustache so he didn't have to sniff sharpie. And for some
reason mustaches gives you the urge to speak in a different accent so Kelly was speaking in a British accent when ever she'd put her mustache
on and I'd have a Super Mario accent xD I'm sure Robert was punching us in the face in his mind. So yeah we waited in the Buzzlight year ride
and I found a hidden Mickey.

After that we went to grab a seat for Fantasmic about an hour early and already there was a huge crowd of people. We sat under a tree so a
few of us got bird droppings on us -____- The damn crows eventually flew away but before they left they let out a big dropping on top of this
baby that was next to us fjghsdklfghsdfg and I was like D8 D8 D8 D8 oh no and the mom was like D8 OH yeah. Apparently that was an ice
breaker cause we talked until the show started xD That family was so nice, unlike that bitchy ass mom we were standing next to that one time...
Then the show started and when Maleficent dragon was about to come on there was a water all around her so you couldn't see what was
happening on stage and all of a sudden you see her eyes light up and there was a roar of screams from the audience including mine and Kelly's
and I was just hopping up and down I was EXTREMELY excitedddddddd. I was just like OMG SHE'S HERE SHE'S REALLY HERREEE
OHHHH GODDDDDD OOHHHH GODDD SHE'S GORGEOUS OOHHH FFFTTTT CRAPPP OHHHHHH MANNNNNN
HNNNNGGGGGGGGGGGGG HNNNGGGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH.
If you haven't seen the pictures I posted of her already they're in my previous post along with two awesome videos of her. After that we hoped
on Thunder Mountain so we can scream our heads off while the fireworks go off over us. And here is what it looks like from the loading point.
You can see the fireworks just over the mountain.

Then after wards we had a few more minutes until the park closed so we ran on over the splash mountain cause it was still kinda warm and we
wanted to get wet. I got the front seat xD Here we are going up and about to be dropped.

Then right before the drop they take pictures of us and Kelly and I decided we were going to point to the far off distant together when they take
the picture, we were suppose to be pointing at space mountain, but when the pictures came out we were pointing in completely different places
xD After that we went hommmmmme.

Thursday:

Just Kelly and I went to Dland around noon since Robert was working the whole day. I don't know why but my mood was just so bad when we
got there. Nothing upset me prior to entering the park but I was just really down and barely spoke after a while I just started crying but I didn't
want Kelly to see so I just turned my head around and eventually stopped crying but I was still very melodramatic. Ugh I blame it on mood swings. That time of the month is coming soon. We went to see the Aladdin show which was really cool. It was in this theater in DCA and they
had orchestra, mezzanine, and balcony seating. We sat on the mezzanine level and the show basically sang all the songs in Aladdin and
their Aladdin was kinda hot ;) and their Genie made a lot of modern jokes. Kelly said last time they made some jokes about Lindsey Lohan.
Yesterday they made jokes about iPhone applications, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga, and Beyonce xD

Then after that we went on Tower of Terror, then went on the carousel, went on the water rapids ride, bought ourselves some churro, and then
hopped aboard my favorite ride......Toy Story Midway Mania C':

I know I talk about this ride a lot and haven't shown you guys any pictures other
than my scores (lol which btw here you go I beat Kelly again CB)

So here's a video of the ride. It's not mine and it was actually taken at Disney World, not DCA so the entrance to get on the ride is different
than the one here but the ride itself is identical. Also the video is long so just skip to 5:00 and start watching from there.

After that we walked around and I found an actual rat in the park xD He was sitting on a rock in the water surrounded by ducks and it seemed
like he had swam there to eat some of the bread people were tossing out to the ducks. There was also a pigeon nearby o.O

And then he hopped off the rock and swam away and three ducks followed him lol.

Then we got hungry and there was nothing at DCA that we wanted to eat so we went on over to Dland
and then Kelly remembered that BBQ place by the petting zoo and I was like OH YEAAAAAH. When ever I
walked by it they had Woody, Jessie the yodeling cowgirl, and Bullseye there on stage providing live
entertainment while you eat ^^ So we get there and we discover that it was kinda expensive but we
wanted to try it out anyway. It was an all you can eat and there's only one menu for lunch and for
dinner. They had beans, cole slaw, corn on a cob, BBQ chicken, BBQ Sausage, BBQ ribs, cornbread, and endless refills on drinks.

And we got live entertainment but it wasn't Woody and the gang but real people.

I think that was THE BEST meal I've had at Dland so far. Also the most expensive...but OH GOD WAS IT
GOOOOOOD. After eating that and another round of beans and corn and 4 refills of lemonade.
Ohhhhhhh yes |D After that we couldn't move so we just chilled there for a while and then went hunting
for penny smashers. Those machines that smash pennies into little souvenirs with pictures on them.
I've been collecting them for a while and have well over 200 of them but only 140 of them are from
Disneyland and I got Kelly hooked on them a few years ago so we collect as much as we can to see who
can get the most lol. Those are pretty much the only things I buy at Disneyland souvenir wise. I want
a Dland balloon but it's too darn expensive for a balloon :\
We then find a spot to stand for Fantasmic for the next hour and a half

Yeah and after that Kelly and I went on Space Mountain as our last ride of the day and I took the
sharpie out and drew eyeballs on our hands so we could look like this guy while they take a picture
of us on the ride.

I SAW DRAGON MALIFICENT TONIIIIIIIIIIGHT.

At last! After two months of waiting for the new and improved
50 foot high Malificent Dragon (named Murphy by the Disney
cast members) we finally get to see her and she was bigger
and more awesome than I had imagined her being.
She was HUGE. I mean look at her compared to Mickey! She also
breathes fire!!! I wish I could have taken a picture of it.
But I'm going back to see her tomorrow and I'll film it this
time instead so you can see the awesomeness that is Malificent.
Also when she appeared I screamed my lungs out like a groupie
at a rock concert and so did Kelly and a few other people who
were waiting for her to make her debut. It made my night I
was so happy. I couldn't sleep the night before because I
was THAT excited to see her.

EDIT: NEVERMIND I FOUND A GOOD VIDEO ON YOUTUBE.

BUT SHE DIDN'T BREATHE FIRE IN THE VIDEO SO I'M GONNA TRY AND GET ONE OF HER DOING THAT TOMORROW CAUSE IT'S PRETTY COOL.

Today is Kittie's (nayruasukei @ dA) birthday so wish her a happy birthday on her page!

Ugh these past 3 days has been really hot. There is a huge brush fire by
my school but it's still too far for the ashes to travel here so the air has
been clean enough to breathe. This is just a random post because I wanted to
share some stuff. School starts in 3 weeks and I'm really looking forward to it.
I'm pretty excited about all my classes. I also got this in the mail today.
That got me really excited and I want to go back to Dland again right now xD

It's magazine for annual pass holders and it has upcoming events at Disneyland.
Something new is coming to Space Mountain for the Halloween event so I can't
wait to see what they've done with the ride. I also really miss the Haunted Mansion
decked out as The Nightmare Before Christmas.

It's been soooo hot that I actually for once want to go to Dland and go on Splash
Mountain lol. Usually when I go I try to avoid it because I don't like walking around
in wet shoes w/ socks and wet jeans are probably the worse. But the heat is actually
making me reconsider! I'll dress light when I do go...but my friend Kelly who I
usually go with has a bad sun burn so I don't know when's the soonest we can go.
I also haven't been in a pool all summer. THAT'S KINDA SAD CONSIDERING THAT I LOVE
TO SWIM SO MUCH .But I've mainly just been at Dland instead...getting crispier and crispier.

Anyways thought I'd share some pictures. These are of my current pets and some interesting
stuff I found in my backyard.

My mom is planting something in the wine box...

Just baby plants so far.

Here are my goldfishes! They live in separate buckets. lol yes buckets. But the huge kind
that you wash your large dog in. This is Jacob, he's the only one who didn't change colors.
All my other goldfishes did...which was weird. At first I thought they had died and
my mom went to get new ones HOPING that I wouldn't notice the replacements but I later
found out that they just changed colors because...they felt like it? I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW
GOLDFISH COULD DO THAT.

This is Big Bob. He use to be black on top and orange at the bottom. Now he's completely
orange.

This is Hipler because he had a Hitler mustache which I think he still has. But he use
to be only red and black but now he's calico...

AND AWWWW HERE'S MY OLD SMELLY DOGGYYYYYYYY. She goes to the bathroom 80 times a day.

I was watering the plants and found this massive earthworm above the soil and I picked
it up.

I remember as a kid I'd dig for earthworms and let them crawl all over my hands ^^

Awesome.

And then looking back at the soil a few minutes later I had found something that I
have never seen before in my entire life. Well not in person at least.

A terrestrial flatworm. Also known as Bipalium adventitium. I picked it up
on a stick and put it on a brick so I could get a better look.

It had a flat head that would lift up and flap it's face as if going OM NOM NOM NOM

I put the earthworm down next to it for size comparison which I later found out on the
internetz (while doing research on the flatworm) that earthworms are actually the flatworm's
food. Oops. But it didn't attack the earthworm in any way and I put them back on
separate parts of the flowerbed.

Yeah it was strange seeing something so weird in my yard. I think the strangest thing
I found in my backyard were these two white large earthworms that lived in water for weeks
before they died.

Well I have art to share but I'll save that for another post.

IT'S SO BLOODY HOT. 100 degrees today. Ugh. I can't
draw in this heat so I'll blog about Dland.

So I went with a whole new group to Dland yesterday. I went and
picked up Kat and then we head to Dland to meet up with our
other friends; Katie, Linda, Mike, and Laura ( mytsie ).
But Kat and I decided to go to DLCA (Dland California Adventures)
first and we went on the Toy Story Mania ride AS USUAL. It is
my favorite ride and I've yet to find someone to beat me except
that one time Kelly did but I was so tired and weak from running
around Dland for +14 hours the day before so we don't count that haha.
But alas I got my highest point so far! Still cat level which sucks.
But i'm in the 200,000!

Then after that we went on the California Screamin' roller coaster and
the Maliboomer. And then Kat said she had never talked to Crush the
turtle or been in the animation building so I was like SKFDLJGHDFSGDF
ARE YOU KIDDDINGGG MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. So I took her over and
well on the way we took a picture with Minnie and then went to the
animation building and had a lovely session with Crush and then we
sat in the middle of the animation building watching the giant screens
of disney movies and being the art geeks we were we pointed at certain
shots on screen and were yelling which artists drew them xD
EYVIND EARL! MIKE HUMPHRIES!! GLEN KEANE! MARY BLAAAAAAIR!!!!!!
Then after that we went to the voice dubbing room in Ursula's grotto
and we cracked up so hard pairing our voices to the disney character's.
Every time I got a character with a high voice I'd say their line
with a low voice (which I am bad at) But when I get a character with
a low voice I'd say their line with a high voice so I did Jafar
and Scar with a high squeaky voice and we COULD NOT stop cracking up. Even the
family waiting for their turn in back of us thought it was pretty
hilarious xD It was very much like Alpha and his voice translator in UP xD
Then we went out and felt a little hungry so we met up with Linda, Katie,
Laura, and Mike at a restaurant at DLCA and ate a delicious apple and chicken
salad in a sourdough bread bowl. After we felt full and happy and then
Katie was like LET'S GO ON CALIFORNIA SCREAMIINNNNNNNN which is a
roller coaster with an upside down loop in it and Mike, Linda, and I
were like YEAAHHHHHH! But Laura and Kat sat it out xD
We ended up going on it twice since the line was so short .__.
ANOTHER GOOD THING ABOUT YESTERDAY.
Because so many people started school already, all the lines were super short!
And then after that I was like let's go on the ferris wheeeeel ^___^
and everybody was like Nooooooooooo ;___; cause they all apparently get
motion sickness when the gondolas start swinging apparently....puh.
And I found out that Linda had scored 209,000 before in Toy Story Mania
and I was like.....oh it's on. A CHALLENGER HAS APPEARED.
But we didn't get to go on it cause I didn't want to make people wait
for us as the two of us went and battled it out xD BUT SOMEDAYYYYYY *shakes fist*
Then we headed over to Tower of Terror and rode on that and then went back
to Dland.

Here is the basement of the Hollywood Hotel Tower of Terror.

We then hop in line for the Matterhorn which too had a pretty short line. It's
usually 45 minutes or more. There were two lines for two sides. The right
side gives you a track that makes your ride fast and enjoyable. The left side
gives you a track that makes your ride bumpy, painful, and could give you a possible
concussion xD. We knew this of course but since we noticed the line was shorter on
the left side we decided to hop in that line. After the ride, our butts were sore >_<

Oh yeah and when ever I wait in that line there are these seals/crest things that
have like griffins or rams on it and I've noticed that some of them have....visible
genitalia.

After that we did Pirates and Haunted Mansion and then made our way to Toon Town.
Linda, Mike, and Katie got on the little kiddie roller coaster while Kat, Laura,
and I sat it out and sat by the fountain and I played with the water and when
they came back we went to It's a Small World.
As everybody knows it takes you to different continents with all the
different races and the very last room all the puppets are there dressed in white.
And Laura was like, "The moral of that ride is that it's cool to be any race so long
as you admit that in the end white is still the best" and we were like LOL ADKFJGHKSDJHFKGDG
OH DISNEY.

It's the silliest ride at Disneyland.

I don't know why but I get really excited when I see Canadians at Disneyland...
So I always get excited when I see this guy.

And this clown that I have nothing but remorse for. He's sitting on a sharp
roof top with the sharp point digging into his groin as he tries to balance himself.
WTF?

And Japan and China are next to each other. I didn't get to take a picture of
the sparkling Panda which brings me to the next silly thing this ride provides...

There is a whole room dedicated to Sparkle Animals. And literally. These animals
sparkle. With their sequins, pixie dust, and unnatural colors.

Then we went back to the Golden Horse Shoe to by Katie a heart-stopping
diabetes producing Disneyland dessert. We got her a huge chocolate cake
which took several people to finish. And we ate it with chili cheese fries.

Yeah... I'm surprise we didn't die from a heart attack.

Then after that we took the train back to Toon Town and then we went on the
Roger Rabbit ride and then Laura and Katie left so Linda, Mike, Kat, and I
walked on over to Thunder Mountain and on the way there I was talking about
how AWESOME it would be to play laser tag at Disneyland. Like have two
teams, red and blue and have 20 people on each time or something and how
I'd find the highest point at Dland, Matterhorn Mountain, stay there and just
snipe people from there xD or scuba in the Rivers of America and slowly stick
my head and gun out and just shoot people from there that way they can't get
me xD And Kat was like, "YOU'RE EVIL." sdjgkdhgdfgdfg. We then saw the line
for Thunder Mountain and didn't feel like waiting so we got fast pass and went
on Space Mountain and Buzzlight Year Astro Blasters. I ACTUALLY GOT A HIGH SCORE.
MY HIGHEST SCORE YET! IT'S OVER 300,000. I'm so happy C':

Then we went on Jungle cruise and then the Tiki room and by then the firework
was about to start and Linda and Mike were like WE MUST RIDE ON THUNDERMOUNTAIN
DURING THE FIREWORK SHOW BECAUSE IT'S AMAAAZZZIINNNNGGGG. And it was. The
fireworks were right over Thunder Mountain and it was so awesome seeing the
fireworks and going OOooh pretty and then immediately after that you've plunged into
a dark cave and you're back to screaming your lungs out xD. Then we hopped on Pirates
again and Haunted Mansion. We tried to find the "hidden mickey"
in pirates but no luck. I've only been able to find the hidden mickey in
Space Mountain, Thunder Mountain, and Haunted Mansion and people have told me
where the mickey is in Indiana Jones and Pirates but I've yet to find it.
Apparently there are a bunch in each ride but each one has an 'offical' one.
After Haunted Mansion we went to see Fantasmic and I just mouthed along the
whole thing cause I've seen it enough times to memorize it already xD
BUT STILL NO DRAGON. I'm afraid she might not ever show up...or if she does it
might not be until the end of this year or even worse...next summer. *SOBS*

Wow I still have scratches and bruises from the beach party...
I don't know how I got those ones though cause it was mainly
my leg and back that was attacked but there are no scratches
or bruises there xD still sore though...

So far I'm living off of the left over food from the party.
MMMMMM I LOVE ME SOME CORN, SPRITE, AND CHIPS AND DIPS.
Life is good.

Anyways suddenlyspring had a recent entry about the relationship
between animals and humans and where we stand and where they
stand and how they are treated and how they treat us.I just believe in
treating them humanely and not making them suffer for our selfish needs. I
also brought up the fact that our domestic dog friends protect
us as we do for them and we have earned their trust and companion.
They consider us a part of their pack and yet I don't understand
how some people can abuse this trust and treat them poorly or
even consume them in some countries.

My mom loves animals as well, especially cats and dogs, and she
came in my room yesterday and told me something she read in
the newspaper that day. Some weeks ago there was a large typhoon
in Taiwan which caused the hills and mountains to flood and the
rescue boats went around to evacuate the residents on the hills.
There was an old man who was crippled and could not walk very
far and he was on the roof with his 7 dogs. The man did not
want to leave his dogs behind but the boat did not have room
for him and his dogs so he told the boat to leave and to just
send another boat to get him. When the boat drove away the people
looked back and had noticed that the water had risen to the man's
waist. For some reason they were unable to send another boat
and 10 days later they returned to the hills when all the water
was gone and the rescue team saw one of the old man's husky
all muddy and dirty and the husky lead them to the old man's
house and they began to remove the debris and mud and had found
the old man with his 6 dogs surrounding him in a circle. None
of them survived but the site of such loyalty was enough to make
the rescue team cry as they were digging them out. The dogs didn't
abandon their owner but chose to die with him rather than save their
own lives. I'm not sure how the husky got out but he stuck around
and looked for help.

This reminds me of this japanese film I saw where a very familiar
story took place. A nature disaster caused a house in the mountain
to collapse trapping a little girl and her grandpa and her shiba inu
was able to get out and tried to dig them out but the debris was too
heavy for the dog to remove so she went to find the rescue team and
lead them to the house and were able to save the girl and her grandpa.
I watched that with my dog and after seeing that my dad was like,
"I have earned a new respect for dogs, I truly have." Which is
big cause my dad isn't a very big animal lover.

Anyways just wanted to share that story because it touches me
deeply every time I hear stories like that. There are animals
out there that do feel compassion and love. I'll leave you with
this video that I've seen many times before with my mom and
we cry every time we watch it. Some of you have probably seen it
but it's about Christian the lion.

PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY PARTY

I had a late birthday party at the beach yesterday. The day before my friend Kelly
and I hit up a bunch of different places in search of water guns and nerf guns and
we went to Walmart, Toys R Us, Target, and even the 99 cent store haha. Then I
bought a bunch of food from Costco and still have some left over. I also woke up
this morning VERY VERY sore.

So I woke up at like 6am cause I wanted to get to the beach by 8am to find a
fire pit since they get claimed quite quickly if you go too late so I had loaded
things like tents and chairs in my car the day before and all I needed to do is
put food in my car, drive to Kelly's house, put the food in her cooler and load
her firewood, umbrellas, etc., and my friend Chel was there as well. It took like
half an hour to load everything into my car and not everything would fit in my car
so we had to put some in Chel's.

SO MUCH STUFF. THIS WASN'T EVEN ALL OF IT.

Then Kelly got in my car and we drove to the grocery store to pick up things
to make smores with and ice. After that we drove to the beach and got there
at 9am. A little later than I wanted but we were still able to get a pit.
They raised the parking price too IT'S SO OUTRAGEOUSSSSS. IT WAS $10 FOR
THE LONGEST TIME NOW IT'S $15! THAT'S FREAKING MORE THAN DISNEYLAND PARKING!!!!
WRYYYYY?????

We then unloaded my tent first which is REALLY heavy so we needed all 3
of us to lift and carry it to our pit and putting it up was hard because
we've never put it before and the GUYS next to our pit wouldn't even help
us. We were surrounded by guys who had all of their tent up and they wouldn't
even give us a hand what jerk faces but we were able to get it up eventually
and then went and unloaded the car and began to set up.

Here are our weapons.

A bubblewand, a glowing green wand, a lightsaber, nerf guns, and marshmallow shooters booyah.

The most fun was the bubblewand as it made HUGE bubbles.

and I attacked the bubbles with my lightsaber lol

We then played with the nerf guns, water guns, and nerf guns for a while. One of
the waterguns didn't work. I guess that's what you get for buying it from the 99 cent
store :\. After that we just chilled and waited for more guests to show up. There
were also no girls on the beach surrounding us...it was just...guys. Here's our
table of food and off in the distance it's...more males.

I went to CVS yesterday and when I got change I got this cool dime with a hole in it.

Then Kelly got bored and made a fort out of our table and firewood so that when
people come near us we can attack them with the bazooka launchers and they wouldn't
be able to see it coming ^_^

Then Kelly and I went to shore and the waves were big we could see them all
the way from our pit which we usually can't so we went to check them out and
they had the lifeguards out on their boats making sure people don't get
swept out to sea or drown.

We went back and found a bunch of pigeons around our turf

We were like CHEL YOU WEREN'T GUARDING OUR TURFFFFF
Pigeons are not as bad as sea gulls. Later on a family had left their pit
unattended and a FLOCK of seagulls landed and ate practically all their food
and we tried to make them fly away but then they'd just come back and we gave up
lol. That's what they get for not keeping an eye on their own pit.

And then we played with more bubbles ^_^

There was some kind of a sailboat race going on in the water or something...

Then Chel's friend Carl came by and after jumping in the ocean 3 times he was
exhausted so Chel and I took the opportunity to bury him ^_^

And then the seagulls came who are more superior than the pigeons and attack them.

This one claimed it's turf.

GIT OUTA HERE PIGEONNNN.

Then more friends showed up and kinkyaziankitty and I had a water gun fight
which just turned into a water tossing fight which just turned into a wet t-shirt
contest...
and people really enjoyed playing with the marshmallow shooters because our tent
ended up being surrounded by little marshmallows. But the birds don't like eating
them for some reason. I guess that's good. And then Robert and Jenzie showed up
so we started the fire and started cooking the hotdogs and corn. After eating
we just chilled and talked.

And I played with my pokemon, Charmander and Charmeleon ^_^

And then my friend Gabo showed up

And we got a nice glimpse of the sunset.

and 5 minutes after

The sun sets so quickly!

Then a friend of a friend showed up and he brought like 10 people with them
but I didn't mind cause I wanted all my food gone so I wouldn't have to take
so much stuff back. Kelly really wanted me to draw on her again so that we
can use the black light xD I was like UGH FINE. So I drew a skeleton out of
her and gave a little heart and a koala.

And then she suggested the Dark Mark so now she's a Death Eater.

And she ran around showing people the drawings going LOOK AT MEEEEEEEEEEEEE so I drew a penis on her
and she stopped xD

I don't know what it was about the night time but it really brought out the
feral in everyone! We all got really violent like animals! xD We started
playing dodgeball with a soccer ball. A SOCCER BALL. NOT A SQUISHY DODGEBALL,
A HARD PAINFUL SOCCERBALL. I got caught in the crossfire a couple of times
as Gabo and Jenzie started beating each other with the ball and then Robert
joined them and went after me. And then I attacked Robert for attacking me.

lol I didn't know half the people at my party. And I brought my guitar and we jammed out to random music the whole night.

Then around 9pm my friend Diana and her little brother Mikey showed up and
I talked to her for a bit since I haven't seen her in a year and a half and
then Kelly came up to me with a big ice cube and was like whose shirt should
I put this down and I was like robert >D so she did and he was like KFJGHDFG
and Kelly was like ELSA TOLD ME TO DO IT!! and I was like WHAATTT YOU CAME
UP TO ME WITH THE INTENTION OF PUTTING IT DOWN SOMEONE'S SHIRT. So Robert
got a handful of ice cubes and Kelly and I were like...oh shit. So we RAN
from him and we could pretty much just run circles around the fire pit and
I think we ran 5 times around the firepit and Kelly just crouched in the
sand and she blend in REALLY WELL cause she was wearing sandy colored clothes
and it took a bit for Robert to find her even though he walked right past her
the first time xD But when he found her he put a ice cube in her shirt and I was
hiding under the food table the whole time next to the ice coolers and trash bag
so I blend in with the dark shadow and it took a while for them to find me xD
Jenzie even came to the food table and petted my head but they still didn't
notice xD and they circled the pit about twice and they were like WHERE'S ELSA?
YOU SERIOUSLY CAN'T FIND HER? They'd get close to me too and I could see
their face so clearly but they couldn't see me xD and then I heard some whispering
and Robert came over to my table and crouched down and grabbed my legs and
tried to put the ice cube in my pants SLDKFJGHDSKFGJHFG but he's been holding
the ice so long trying to find me that it basically just turned into water xD
And I jumped from under my table yelling WHO RATTED ME OUTT???????? I never found
out who told him >\ and then Gabo and I had a pushing game to see who could
push who to the ground first lol and then I saw Kelly just standing there and
I ran towards her and Norman who was standing next to her saw me coming and
quickly knelt behind her and I pushed Kelly and she swayed back and tried to
step back but Norman was there on the ground and she tripped over him fell and over xD Then
Kelly tried to wrestle me and then tripped me so I was on the ground and tripped
her from there and then I was attacked by the soccer ball again Dx
GOOD TIMES.

Around 10pm the beach was closing so the beach guards were on their loud speaker
saying how if we didn't leave now we're getting a $89 citation so everybody was like
OH CRAP. and we packed up and left lol. We said our goodbyes and on the car ride home
I was like...Oh yes I'm gonna be SORE tomorrow....and kelly just laughed cause it's true xD

BUT WHEN I'M WAY UP HERE IT'S CRYSTAL CLEEEEEEAR

Went to Dland yesterday with Kelly and Robert. I basically just wanted to
go to California Adventure so I could try their beer lol. I actually didn't
end up drinking even though we kept mentioning margaritas every hour since
they did sell them there.

We get there at 9am and Disney California Adventure
hadn't open yet so we went inside Dland and rode Space Mountain and I wore
my goggles on my head that day so Kelly and Robert were like HEY YOU SHOULD
PUT THEM OVER YOUR EYES SO THAT WHEN THEY TAKE A PICTURE OF YOU IN THE RIDE
YOU'LL LOOK LIKE A PILOT OR SOMETHING and I'm like YES I WILL DO THAT. AWESOME.
and because the goggle lenses were so dark I could see absolutely NOTHING when
I went on that ride. It was pitch black throughout it all but I know when they
shoot the camera and I do some silly pose. After that we went over to DLCA
right when it opens and we go straight to the Toy Story ride and I'm like
YAAAY MY FAVORITE and then I battled against Robert and Kelly was
like Oh Robert.......she's gonna beat you.

And she was right.

:) :) :) :) :) :) I own at this game. I was on the top 5 score of that day
of course...I went on it 30 minutes after the park had opened...BUT STILL
WHAT A GRATIFYING FEELING. I'm sick of being stuck on Cat level though..the next
one up is antelope...and I can't remember what the highest animal level is....

After that we went on the ferris wheel and then the maliboomer and then we went
over to Turtle Talk with Crush, oh Crush how i've missed you ;_____; and I just
love sitting in the center of the Animation building and just watching all the
walls change every 2 minutes displaying different disney movies and music.

Afterwards we got hungry so we went to the Golden Vine which is the only restaurant
in DLCA that serve alcohol I believe. Or was it the only one that served wine I forget.

We had a nice lunch and then we started feeling lethargic so we were like mehhh let's
go back to Robert's house since he lives 5 minutes away. So we drive there and Kelly
and Robert play with their Pokemon cards dkjghfdkghdfg while I played Super Smash Bro Brawl.

Then I think they got bored of pkmn so they played Brawl with me and I got to kick their
ass with Pikachu lol he's my default character. Kelly's is Samus and Robert...well
Robert will play any character. After about 3 hours of Brawl we watched a dvd of
a comedian, Steve Bryne, for about an hour and he's pretty funny. His jokes remind me
of Dane Cook though. Then we got hungry again and Kelly was craving candy apple the
whole day along with lime corn which we were suppose to buy at Dland but never did.
So we walk a block down to a shopping center called well...The Block. And- ooh I hear
the Dland fireworks right now as I type xD every night at 9:30. And yeah Robert and
I had an actual dinner and Kelly was gnawing happily on her candy apple. We then drive
back to Dland and Kelly really wanted to go see the Electrical Light Parade which we
were lucky enough to catch. I haven't seen it in years and I have to say my eyes did
tear up the first 5 minutes of it I HAVE NO IDEA WHY. Sometimes I just do that during
Dland night shows like Fantasmic or the firework show. It just makes me so happy when
I see them. Anyways here are some pictures I took of the light parade.

After that we went to the Tower of Terror and so was everybody else in the park
we rushed there as fast as we could before the line quadrupled. I love that
riiiide so much. It's the best free fall ride I've ever been on. And we got a good
group too. Everyone in our group, except one person lol, had been on the ride before
so we knew all the words to the intro and throughout the ride so everybody was
saying it xD

After that DLCA closed so we walked over to Dland and Robert had a corn dog, we
went to the candy store cause Robert now wanted a candy apple but they didn't
have the apple pie flavor so we went on Star Tours and then after that we went
to see Fantasmic to see if the Malificent dragon was there. But she wasn't :C
so then we left before the show ended so we wouldn't be stuck in the massive amount
of people trying to leave the park.

Next week I get to go with a whole new group of people so it will be a completely different
experience than usual since I usually go with Kelly and Robert. I can't waitttt (B

ALSO. LAST WEEK. TIM BURTON AND HIS WIFE HELENA BONHAM CARTER WERE AT DLAND.

WHY DO I ALWAYS MISS CELEBRITIES AT DLAND??? FIRST BATMAN...NOW TIM BURTON AND HELENA???
FML. But my friend's little sister was there celebrating her bday and she got to MEET HIM
and take pictures with him JDFHGJDKFGD actually he OFFERED to take pictures with them
djfghdjfkghdfg jealous. Here are the pix that she got.

I wonder what it's like being Tim Burton, the man who created the Nightmare Before Christmas,
coming to Disneyland and seeing your characters on everything in every dland store and even a ride dedicated
to your movie in the halloween/christmas season.

SEEING STARS I'M SEEING STARS, OH MY STARRY EYED SURPRISE

So I went star gazing last night with my bff Kelly and our friends
Robert, Jenzie, and Norman and it was my first time looking at the
meteor shower and we drove away from the city into the hills so that
city lights wouldn't conceal the stars from us and I haven't seen this
many stars in a while. In fat I can't remember when was the last time
I saw this many stars! We saw about 10+ shooting stars and I laid on
top of Kelly's car (WHICH GOT REALLY COLD CAUSE IT WAS BASICALLY
METAL) and every body else laid on the ground where it was warmer. It
was my first time seeing the milky way also and it was so pretty. While we
were lying down Jenzie was like we need some...sci fi music or something
so I blasted the Star Wars theme on my iphone and Robert was very happy
as he is a Star Wars fan and then when we were about to leave Norman
and I had a light saber battle with our iphones. My saber was hot pink C:

And Robert had a black light that is used to find minerals and he had
showed us that if you draw on yourself with highlighter it GLOWS
so I went crazy with the highlighter and drew on myself but mainly Kelly
who willingly volunteered because I always draw on her anyways.

IT STARTED WITH A MUSTACHE AND A MONOCLE WHICH TURNED INTO EYES.

And then she had a goatee and Norman and I played Tic-Tac-Toe on her forehead.
As you can see nobody won.

So yeah we got there around 11pm and watched the sky until 12:30 and the moon
started to rise and the clouds started rolling in and then covered the whole
sky so we couldn't see anything and then we went home. We saw some really pretty
and big meteors and then Robert saw the last meteor of the night D< But then when
Kelly and I drove home we saw one go over the freeway and we were like YES! WE SAW
THE LAST METEOR. So we text Robert and was like IN YO FAAAAAAACE. I'm sure he
sobbed himself to sleep.

Oh yeah and I had chicken and waffles for dinner last night with a couple of friends
and it was sooo goood. And then Kelly and I went to get frozen yogurt and then we headed
off the gaze at stars. GREAT DAY IT WAS.

CELLLLLEBRATION TIME C'MON!

So I had my 21st birthday yesterday.
Did I get drunk?
Oh yeah.
Where?

Okay so I was suppose to go to Dland with karinkanzuki because we're birthday twins
and we'd be able to get in for free together but he was unable to make it since her
car wasn't able to drive to my place or to dland and she lived too far for me to
pick her up and drive to dland :\ But we'll try for next year if dland is still doing
the birthday offers. Anyway I was CONVINCED that I was going to spend my day at dland
alone so I brought my sketchbook and pencils so that I could go and sketch people
and characters but then my bff Kelly called around noon and was like 'oh hey i'll
be at downtown disney in 2 hours' and I'm like oh cool well i haven't left yet so
i'll meet you there. So then I ate lunch and then left to go to Dland and when I get
there Kelly had just gotten there at the same time too and then we got our tickets and
I got this nifty free button that says it's your birthday and your name on it so that
anybody who works at dland are required to say Happy Birthday to you haha.

So then we go in and Kelly as usual wanted to go on the Buzzlightyear ride xD
But there was an actual line and it was 20 minutes (not too bad but long for
the buzzlightyear ride) and we didn't want to wait in the sun so we just
wandered around Tomorrowland. I was REALLY hungry so I bought a green apple
that came with a caramel dip and after finishing that with Kelly we went into
the Innoventions room which is just a round building that has futuristic stuff
in there and video games like Rockband and Xbox and a bunch of other stuff so
we stayed there for a while cause it was nice and AIR CONDITIONED!!!!

After that we went on Autopia and I was like...hey...I can totally drive while
talking on the cell phone here and not get a ticket for it kjdghkdfg but I didn't
do that and then I thought it would be funny if I had gotten drunk and drove the
autopia car and I still wouldn't get a ticket for driving under the influence xD
But it was too early in the day to drink so I didn't do that either. BUT IT WAS
STILL FUN. I drove this ugly...grey.....brown...rotten marshmellow colored car
and Kelly was behind me and drove a chocolate brown car.

it should say 'Do Not Bump the Car in Front or GTFO!'

And then after that we head to Fantasyland and rode on the carousel and then
the Pinocchio ride was shut down for remodeling or something but there was
this sign posted outside.

We then went to look for the two turtles that exist at dland and we found one.

and a bunch of fish!

We found out from a cast member that they named one Bernie and the other one Betty.
I'm not sure which is which xD And I also found out that they named the Malificent
dragon in the show Fantasmic Murphy. I was like...Murphy? But that's a guy's name D:
And there was still no dragon in Fantasmic by the way. Kelly and I were bummed. They
told us it would be here by the end of July D':
And then we went to the little petting zoo that they had. Kelly wanted to go see
"The Happiest Turkey on Earth" He didn't look very happy.

But he had a goat to keep him company.

And then we petted the goats and the sheep and the cow.

After that we were like oh hey we can go canoeing but then I remembered that
it was only open during the weekends so we went on the Mark Twain ferry boat
instead which i've never been on. I didn't get a pic of the exterior if it so

After that we went to the Golden Horseshoe which was an ice cream parlor/restaurant
but it also has live entertainment. And I've never been inside so Kelly took me

Then after that we went to Tarzan's treehouse

And then around 6pm we were waiting for a few more people to show up and we
occupied our time by staring at some cute ducks.

Robert showed up and then he was like YOU'RE STILL SOBER????
And I was like sdkjghdkfghdg THERE IS NO BEER AT DISNELAND! Only at
Disney California Adventure and Downtown Disney. Then Robert was like
so what rides haven't you guys been on yet and Kelly was like SPLASH MOUNTAIN
and I was like KSDLFGHDKFSJGSDFG THERE'S A REASON WE HAVEN'T GONE ON IT
YET. YOU GET SO FREAKIN' SOAKED. And robert was like ^_^ so? So I was like
UGH FINE. and we walked over there and THANK GOD it had broke down so we didn't
get to go on it so we went to the Haunted Mansion instead and then Pirates of
the Caribbean which Kelly actually did get partially soaked when going down
the first waterfall drop. And I was like hahaaaaaaaa you got wet and then she
splashed me with some of the water and I was like DFJGHFDG

After that we went to Downtown Disney for dinner and we ate at the Rainforest
Cafe like I did last year for my birthday and I got to order my drink
and I got something fruity...Toucan something or other. But it was good. Could
barely taste the alcohol.

And Kelly was kind enough to pay for my meal and drink (YES I ONLY HAD ONE
DRINK AND I GOT DRUNK. ROBERT AND KELLY HAD A GRAND OL' TIME WATCHING ME
SLURR MY WORDS AND ACT REALLY HAPPY. One of my friends has labeled me as
The Happy Drunk before. Ugh but I'm such a lightweight. I got it from me papa)
Anyways our waitress was really nice and she was like WANT ANOTHER DRINK? ^_^
and I was like oh no no no one more and I won't be able to find my feet. Oh
yeah and they had given us a kiddie coloring book and crayons before we ordered
lol and they had a mad lib section in there and for those who don't know mad lib
it's basically just one of these:

Mind you I filled this out when I was sober but it was still lolarious. The
words in parentheses is what I filled in.

out over the (BABY DIARRHEA) water, and I said to (Kelly), "Let's go (jizzing)!"
So we took our (Batmobile) and out (underwear) and (flied) to the (Nile). After
(jizzing) for a long time, we were (HOT). So we took our (CATS) and began to
(hike). In the distance, we saw a (jellyfish) splash out of the water. "Wow,
that was (THE SHIT)!" I exclaimed. We kept watching and soon another one (DIED).
Then we decided to (fart) in the water for a while before it was time to go home.
What a (SEXY) day!"

lol I showed it to Kelly and Robert and they couldn't stop laughing. I will look to
this when ever I am sad!

So then after eating I attempted to get out of the restaurant without falling down
the stairs and then we went towards the monorail to get back into the park and I walked
up to the person at the table and handed them my ticket and showed them my handstamp
and Robert was like "Uh Elsa....that's the bag check" and I was like KSDJGHDKFGJHD!!!
I SHOULD'VE KNOWN THAT I'VE DONE IF BEFORE DFHGKFDG oh god we started laughing so hard
and then when we went to get out tickets approved I just started cracking up and the
lady there was like "What's so funny?" and I was like, "Sorry it's my 21st birthday"
and she was like "ohhhhh drinky drinky" SDJGHDFKGFGDFGDG. And so the WHOLE night I was
feeling really happy and REALLY TIRED at the same time cause usually after I drink
I get sleepy or pass out. So then we went to the arcade and I was like I'M GONNA DDR...
WHILE DRUNK. I failed. I failed so hard. And then we met up with two of Kelly's friends
and one of her friends was looking at me and was like, "She's gonna puke isn't she?"
and Kelly' like "haha it's her 21st birthday" and we go on Space Mountain. Robert and
I were still feeling full and we were the only ones who drank so we were both a little
woozy in the head but I wanted to ride it while he sat it out and when ever Kelly and
I go on Space Mountain we have to do something for when they take a picture of us and
we did those weird glasses things.

I was practicing it on the monorail but couldn't get my fingers in the right
position cause I couldn't think xD but I finally got it and I think it was the
best Space Mountain picture we've taken yet.

After it was around 11:30 pm and the park was starting to empty so we hopped on
the Buzzlightyear ride and then Jungle Cruise at night. By then my skin had
cleared up and was no longer red or blotchy and I was like "YAY I DON'T LOOK
DISEASED ANYMORE!" and one of the castmembers on jungle cruise was like
"...yeah...I don't think I wanna load you on to the ship" and we were all just
cracking up. Oh I had a good time talking to him. He's the one who told me
that they named the Malificent dragon Murphy. And I went on babbling on about
something else which I can't remember and then he was like, "How many shots did
you have exactly????" and Robert was like "She only had ONE drink LOL" And our
boat arrives and we get on and we get this pretty lady skipper and the reason
I like going on jungle cruise at night as some of you know is because they
crack adult jokes but sadly we didn't get any last night :\ My friend had
heard a really good one before where the skipper goes "And if you look to the
left you will see the 2nd largest python in the amazon. Ladies, If you want
to see the first largest see me after the ride" and I was like KJGHDKFG LOL!!!!
GAAHHHH I BETTER GET A GOOD SKIPPER NEXT TIME. After that we went on Pirates
again and I was just SO tired that I took a nap the whole time we were on the ride.
And we were like the only people on the rides at that time cause technically
the park had closed by then lol. After that we left and I felt awake enough to
drive myself home. It was a really nice birthday. I really wasn't expecting
much but it turned out to be really fun.

of you guys and I appreciated it very much! <3

EXCITING STUFF:
HAHA I CAN FINALLY GO BACK TO DISNEYLAND THIS THURSDAY.
Hurrah for getting in free on your birthday :D And the Malificent dragon in
the Fantasmic show was said to be fixed by the end of July so if anybody has
gone recently can you confirm or deny that for me please???? THANKS.

BORING STUFF (feel free to ignore. just school stuff):
I went to school today to talk to the department chair to see if I
could substitute some of the classes I'm required to take with classes that
would better suit my track next semester because I had asked them before
if I could substitute Matte Painting for a figure drawing class or something
because I don't plan on being a background painter and I rather work on my
figure drawing and she was like NO. YOU CANNOT. And I was like FHGJKDSFG WHUT?
And it wasn't fair because she had let my friend do it. But it really depends
on her mood. If she's happy she'll let you do what ever the hell you want. But
anyways she said that if I really want to sub that class I would need to show
my portfolio to the other our other department chair. This was last fall/winter
sdjhfjdgh so yeah I really put that off for a while because I was scared that
she'd say No too and you don't know how badly I DO NOT want to take that class.
I'D CRY ABOUT IT FOR REALS. Also that one film class...I didn't want to take that
one either because I don't see myself as a director and It might be a waste of my
time to run around looking for people to be in my film and then actually spend
time going on location and writing the script when it's not what I want to do so
I want to sub that for color theory again because my colors suck and that class
is fun because you get to do character design to an actual story and the teacher
is awesome. So I go into her office today ALL SHAKY BECAUSE I'M LIKE OH GOD
PLEASE SAY YOU'LL LET ME TAKE THE CLASSES I ACTUALLY WANNA TAKE AND CAN HELP
ME IN MY CAREEEEEEEEEEEER and she took a look at my portfolio and really liked
my stuff and she said yessssssss and I was like jumping out of my seat and hitting
the ceiling. well not really but i was sooooooo glad i didn't have to take those
useless classes. I feel a lot at ease now that there aren't any classes i'm
dreading to take.

THESE ARE ALL KINDA OLD. except the HP ones...those are my friend's lol.

I had forgotten to post this on the Northern California trip but this was something
at the aquarium. It basically pumps ocean water to the roof and then releases it
over this glass window that you can walk under and it's pretty cool.

My friend, Dawn, had a bday lunch a couple of weeks ago and then we went to her house afterwards
and I got to play with her, well her brother's, pets. This is Kai, he's a ragdoll so when
you pick him up he pretty much goes limp and can't jump or struggle to get out. We gave him
some catnip and the result was hilarious as they always are when cats are given catnip.

Haha kai had a catnip crash. He was so out of it.

Dawn cosplayed at a dusk nobody from KHII a few years ago and I told Kelly
to put on the head xD

I thought about getting a baby bearded dragon a few months ago cause I think
they're adorable and then I didn't want one anymore haha. But my friend's brother.
Kent,had an adult one and I was like JDSHGKJHGDGFGDJG CUUUUUUUUUTE

I got to hold himmm. He was very sweet and didn't try to claw and tail whip me
like my iguana use to do lol. Yes I had watermelon nails.

Then Kent put a spinach in his mouth trying to make him eat xD

pink bunny ears?? IT'S A POKEMON.

Soooooooo Comic-Con was really fun. It was better last year in my opinion I
guess cause The Dark Knight was all the rage and this year....well we had a
few Star Trek stuff here and there...transformers....but nothing big. But
we got there and the first thing I did was hunt down some of my favorite artists.
I found and spoke to Stephen Silver (stephensilver @ dA. He worked on Clerks,
Kim Possible and many more) and I didn't hear his accent last year but I definitely
heard it this year and fell head over heals for it. Then I saw David Coleman
right next to him (davidsdoodles @ dA) and then squeezed my way to Dean Yeagle's
booth. I didn't take any pictures with them this year but there was one artist
I HAD to get a picture with again this year and that was Chris Sanders (alohalilo @ dA)
And I looked everywhere for him, aisle after aisle, booth after booth, ran into so
many clouds of BODY ODOR and then my friend Kelly was like oh hey why don't
we check with my friend he has a booth maybe he'll know where Chris is so
we went over and talked to him a bit and then he looked up Chris' booth in
the con handbook and then we went to find him at the other side of the
exhibitor hall Dx and when we finally spotted his booth I skipped over
there with my piggy tails tossing and I saw Chris signing some of his
books in the back and I asked the lady at the front if he was available
for a picture and she was like no sorry he's busy at the moment try
back later and I was like D8 aw okay and then I picked up his latest
artbook/sketchbook and started flipping through it and I saw something
familiar. REAALLLYYYY FAMILIAR.
he had put that sketch of Immy in the sketchbook and I spazzed like a
freak that the lady was like O_____O and I was like OH. SORRY. THIS
SKETCH. THIS IS A DRAWING OF ME. and She's like OH. and I guess she
might've gone to get Chris or something while I was staring and
squeeing at this little book in my hand that when I put it down
Chris was in front of me and he gave me this "wait a minute...don't
i know you?" look and I was like *POINTS TO BOOK, POINTS TO ME, POINTS
BACK AT BOOK* THIS IS ME. and He was like I KNEW IT! And then I
whipped out the colored finished version that I did and showed it
to him and he was just thrilled and so happy and I was like Can I have
a picture?? And he's like oh sure! come inside the booth- actually
I'll come out to you and then we took a snap shot and I was like
OH BOYYYYYYYYYY. how's your dragon movie? And he's like oh it's
coming along great, it's coming out in March and we haven't had time
to write anything new for it so it's on it's way and i'm like ^__^ hurray
i'll def. go see it i love your work so much and he's like thanks!
you're a great artist too and I was like SKDJGHFDKGDFG OH STOPPPPPP.
that man. you guys. that man. i don't think i can fangasm over anyone
else other than him.

And then I bought two of his newest posters

and had him sign the digital piece that I finished and got a free button
and rub on tattoo. Oh it was glorious. After that I turned to Kelly
and I was like okay.....i'm done, what ever we do next is up to you.
Our Comic-con trip is in your hands now..i'm happy. So we go upstairs
to a Firefly/Serenity Browncoat gathering, stayed for about 5 minutes
then left to eat lunch, after that we met up with our friends
Brianna, Elisa (elisa-marisa @ da) and Andrea and it's reallllllly
difficult trying to keep a group more than 3 together. We kept
losing one person. But we got to see Leonard Nimoy! He's the original
Spock in the Star Trek original series back in the late 60's and that
was so cool I didn't even know he was gonna be there.

And I saw a bunch of these Stitch toys that other artists have
painted on and that was really neat. I forgot to ask Chris if he
had anything to do with that.

And then I was like OH. I there's one more artist I wanna meet and
that's Eric Goldberg. He's a disney animation legend and is best known
for his Genie in Aladdin. He was such a fun and sweet man! I got to
talk to him a bit.

Then after that we lost two of our friends and then we're like yeah...
this isn't gonna work and Kelly's like there's this Torchwood panel
in 30 min that i'd like to see so we parted Brianna and went upstairs.
I also saw Ronnie Del Carmen on the way and got to talk to him a bit.
I wanted to ask what other Pixar movies he's working on but I didn't
want Kelly to wait on me so we left. We got to see the actor that played
Captain Jack in Torchwood and Dr. Who and he was sooooo hilarious. He
started hitting on all the guys and spanking himself I was like LOL.

He's the one in the green shirt. I was like damn...i wish he were straight lol.

I think the San Diego Convention Center is perfect for Comic-con. I've
always loved this part of the architecture.

The whole time Kelly and I were looking at it we were like....you can fly
a space craft through that...preferably a X or Y-wing. It really brought
out the inner geeks in us. Oh comic con.

IF EVERYBODY HAD AN OCEAN ACROSS THE U.S.AAAAAAAA

I'm off to Comic Con tomorrow. I'm going to try and hunt down as many of my fav. artists as I can.
I have need to meet Chris Sanders again....I'm sure he's tired of seeing my face now.
But whatever I don't get tired of seeing his.

Day 1: Los Angeles to Santa Barbara to Monterey Bay
-So we leave LA around 10am and drive 2 hours north to Santa Barbara to meet up with my friend Catherine's friend and Kelly drove.

LOOK HOW HAPPY SHE IS. she'll be miserable for the next 6 hours driving lol
-We finally get there with my trusty GPS and we eat at a restaurant called The Natural Cafe.
I had grilled veggies and tofu on rice and Kelly had fish tacos.
-We then left and drove 4 more hours to Monterey Bay and we had a lovely view of the ocean on the way there and we finally get to our hotel.
We then walked across the street to this Mediterranean restaurant and I had three sausage pasta.
After that we walked outside and it was pretty dark and there was this little red laser light dancing around the floor infront of where we were walking and Catherine and I looked at Kelly cause she likes to hide things like that in her pocket but she's like "That's not me" And we were like.....freaked out. SOMEONE WAS STALKING US. I say it was a sniper. Anyways we got back to the hotel safely and in once piece and went to bed.

Day 2: Monterey Bay to San Jose
-We woke up early for our free continental breakfast at the hotel and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix was on t.v. cause the sixth movie was coming out the next day and we watched some of that and then went down the the aquarium.
Ah Monterey Bay...

-Lovely Jellies!

-Their one million gallon tank which once held a Great White Shark. The first aquarium in the United States to ever keep a Great White in captivity. -lol reflection makes this seahorse look like it's got a siamese twin.

-After that Catherine's friend, Angela, drove by and took us to this nice little restaurant not too far away with a great view of the ocean. After that she dropped us off at our car and we drove 5 minutes to the beach. I came to this beach 3 years ago and it was quite deserted there weren't very many people there and Kelly and I could find tons and tons of pretty shells and sand dollars but now the beach is known to the public and all those pretty sand jewels are very hard to find :\
-When I go to any beach I look in the sand for small clams and crabs and Kelly noticed air bubbles in the sand so I dug for a while and couldn't find anything D:

We then head across the street to this park and we walked around a cemetary because we've never been in one and we found some pretty amusing headstones.
-LOL SHE TOLD YOUUUUUU

-Then we went to the Dennis the Menice playground and Kelly climbed their train.
-WE'RE ON A BRIIIIIDGE CHARRRLIEEEEEEE
-And then Kelly's like HEY LET'S GO SEE THE GEEEEEESE I MISS THEMMMMMMM so we went and I brought a bagel and fed them and petted them lol

-Then we drove an hour up to San Jose to Catherine's grandpa's house and her uncle and her grandpa cooked us a fabulous dinner.
-Then Kelly, Catherine, and I played the Littlest Petshop board game lol. The two of them were eyeing Speedy the Turtle the whole night cause he was the only pet that could move something other than his head and in the end I won him |D
-Haha saw this on their fridge, pretty cute. CLAWS AND RANBOE.

-Then we headed over to Catherine's uncle and aunt's house and we spent the night there.

Day 3: San Jose to Berkeley
-We woke up early, ate a fabulous breakfast that Catherine's Uncle had prepared for us and then we headed off to the Winchester Mystery House. It was literally right across the street from a theater that we were going to go see Harry Potter later that day so it was convenient.
-For those who don't know the Winchester Mystery House is a large haunted house. In the 1880's Mrs. Winchester was haunted by spirits who had taken the lives of her daughter and husband. Mrs. Winchester then bought an unfinished house in California and started building many rooms so that the spirits can't find her at night. She kept building until she died so the house has +100 rooms.
-Catherine stood outside of it but never went in haha she instead went shopping across the street while Kelly and I went for the tour.
-Here is a staircase to the ceiling. It was to confuse spirits.

-The only "weird" thing I took a picture of. This is a reflection from the window of the room we were in and those are our tour group in the same room as we are but they're entering through a white door in another room. I've never seen a reflection like that before. We never got to see what was on the other side of that door...

-Looks like something from Disneyland's Haunted Mansion!
-Not sure what this was...she did have 3 elevators in her mansion...
-Outside the mansion.

-There were a lot of doors in the upper levels that led to the outside and when you stepped through it you fall a story or two to the ground. There were also doors that when you open have nothing but a wall there.
-Down in the basement.

-SPOOKY.

-The tour ended just in time for us to catch the HP6 movie. We got this nice big stadium seating theater with chairs that you can lean back on and a dome ceiling.

-After that we went across the street to find something to eat. I had a BBQ Burger, Catharine had Irish potatoes, and Kelly had fish tacos for the 3rd time on our trip lol

-We then left and drove 2 hours to Berkeley and stayed at Catherine's friend's apartment. We then walked around and got to walk through UC Berkeley. There were a lotttttt of students in that area of course. So everywhere I went I see college students chilling or studying.
-We then had Thai food for dinner.

Day 4: Berkeley back to Los Angeles
-We woke up around 7 and realised there wasn't enough time to drive down to San Francisco or to see the Golden Gate Bridge which was what we all wanted to do. So we just headed south and drove home. It was about a 6 hour drive which surprised me because I thought it would be 8 hours. And it got really hotttt.

It was so fun though. We're going to plan another trip up to San Francisco some other time. Can't wait for that one.

LOL I'M BACK AND I NEVER MADE IT SAN FRANCISCO.

We made it to Berkely which is like 20 minutes from San Fran.
But we would have to CROSS the Golden Gate Bridge to get to
San Fran and we just didn't have the time. I wanted to hit up
Alkatraz too especially with my Harry Potter hype at it's highest
right now and can't stop calling it Azkaban or Azkatraz...

Well anyways I'll make a post of my trip later, I have much to share.

We did get to go see Harry Potter during the trip and we loved it.

=====Not Really Spoilers but if you haven't seen it you can skip this====

I think it's safe to say that it's better than the 5th one [which
I can't really find anyone who liked it all that much. It was also
my least favorite book of the series.] I'm upset that there were
things taken out of the film *cough* flashbacks *cough* and I
don't know if there was a real point in adding things in the film
that weren't in the book. But it was still enjoyable. I've been
obsessing over it the past few days and looking up every interview
I could find of the cast and crew and behind-the-scene videos lol.
I am really pleased at who they casted for Lavender Brown and
Professor Slughorn, they were both excellent and ~*Cormac McLaggen*~

Oh yeah so about that concept artist job. I just spoke with the art director
this morning and we just went over a few things and made final decisions and
I'm officially on board now. I'm really excited to start working on it. I can
say that it's an animated t.v. show geared towards tweens and teens and it's
going to have a darker edgier feel like the 90's Batman t.v. series, Twilight,
and Harry Potter.

Speaking of dark and edgy I just went to this circus show last week and it
was soooo amazing. It was all performed by people, no animals, and it was
like a mixture of Tim Burton's work and The Rocky Horror Picture Show. It's
called Cirque Berzerk and I think it's only in Los Angeles but it was so
amazing and it even had guy-on-guy action I was like OH BOY OH BOY OH BOYYYY

Speaking of Los Angeles. The Deviant Art group meeting thing is going to be there
tomorrow in Echo Park about 20-30 minutes away from me and I was debating about
whether to go or not and then I totally forgot about it until I saw a notice for it
today. But I don't know if i'll go this year maybe next year if they decide to do it again.
Has anyone been to one or know someone who has?

And my cousin left to go back to Taiwan a couple of days ago and I drew her
a little something since she's such a big Stitch fan.

Yaaaay I'm leaving tomorrow for my Northern California trip. We're hitting
Santa Barbara first then Monterey Bay, San Jose, San Francisco, and Berkley.
It's going to be a long drive so we're most likely going to sing our hearts
out to Disney soundtracks to pass time.

And I made a pokemon trainerrrrrr. lol she's like...8...or 9 and she only
has rodent or rodent-like pokemon. That's her ratatta, Cheddar. I'll make
her pokemon chart when I get back. I still have to draw her older sister too.

OH AND EXCITING NEWS.
I got offered a job.
As a concept artist.
At an animated tv series.
They contacted me b/c they saw my dA
And I looked them up and it's legit.
So If I decide to take it I can be doing
character design and help them find

I finally went to the beach.

Since my summer break I haven't been able to go to the beach which is like
wtf since I live pretty close to it but the June Gloom finally cleared up
and the weather was nice so me and my friends planned a beach day.
It was Me, my bff Kelly, Our friend Christina and Brianna, and Brianna's
friend Andrea. We all crammed into Kelly's car along with all the beach
junk and when we got there we were surprised to see how empty it was.
I think a lot of the people were at the MJ funeral that day??????? idk.
But anyways I love the smell of the ocean, MMMMMMM SALTY AIR, SO GOOD.
We find a fire pit (WHICH WE USUALLY CAN'T CAUSE THE BEACH WOULD BE SO
PACKED) and we set up around it and then me, Christina, and Brianna decided
to walk along the shore all the way to the boardwalk.

And we saw a bunch of people running into the water with green swim caps on and
just swimming out to sea and we were like wtf?

and then we were like oohhhhhhhhhhh it's life guard training. They have to go
'save' the person out at sea with the red life guard buoy.

SWIM! GO! SWIM! SAVE GRANDMA!!!!!

It was a...very long walk to the boardwalk and when we finally get there we realized
there were a lot of people surfing.

And we had forgotten our sandals back at our pit so we walked on the
boardwalk barefooted.

And we saw this kite shop lol.

And a pelican we named Pecky! He drew some attention standing on the rail
and everybody wanted to take pictures of him haha. Such a celebrity.

There were a lot of fishermen there too and this guy I was standing next
to was like OH I GOT SOMETHIINNNGGGGG So we stared at what was on the
end of hook and up came a crab.

I was like OMGGGGGGGGG CRABBY! So awesome seriously. I love crabs. I had
just bought a little bronze crab from the Getty Villa Museum the day before.

His prized winning.

"Water! I must escape!!"

The fisherman was nice and let the crab go back in the water though.
We then walked to the end of the boardwalk and walked back on to the
BURNING SAND. We then decided it was a smart idea to walk UNDER the boardwalk
where there was shade. But it looked kinda eerie under the boardwalk...

but kinda cool at the same time...

Then we walked all the way back and I hid under my umbrella so that
I don't tan and Kelly's friend Masahito came and he and Andrea, Brianna,
and Christina went to check out the little fair nearby and Kelly and I
picked up the two nerf guns and started a battle. SJGHKDSGDF IT WAS SO
MUCH FUN. I held it all gangsta and stuck it in the front of my pants
which was hard cause the gun was so BULKY. I had dive into the sand so
many times to dodge her bullets that now I have bruises on my DERRIERE.

PEW PEW PEW.

Then we chilled for a bit and I found a popsicle stick in the sand and
a piece of charcoal and started coloring the stick and then wiped the stick
on Kelly's leg and made four strike marks and she's like IS THIS MY WAR
PAINT? IS THIS HOW MANY PEOPLE I'VE KILLED? and I was like KJSDFHGKDJFHGD
LOL YESSSSSSSS and I put a couple on myself and we got up and ran
around shooting each other again. And then when we got tired we
called up my friend Gabo and told him to come over and he's like
okay i'll bring Brian too and we were like yaaaay more humans!

Then our friends came back from the fair and Kelly and I went over
to the shore and I had brought my Pokemons lol. And I took pictures
of them.

Kelly saw me taking pictures of my various water pokemon and she was like LOL
But we understand each other's quirkiness. I don't think the other people
that came with us would've understand so I didn't do it in front of them haha.

And then Kelly's friend Robert, the one that usually comes with
us to Disneyland, came over and Kelly and I grabbed our nerf guns
and just started shooting him and then he wanted to battle me
but I wonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn. I beat the gamer. And it felt good.
Then it started getting dark and 4 more people showed up along
with my friends Gabo and Brian. Gabo showed up in these CLEARLY
purple skinny jeans and I was like dude...those are really purple
pants and he was like noooo they're blue and we had like a 20
minute argument on whether it was blue or purple because he's
colorblind and I got everybody but Christina (lol) to agree
with me and say that they were purple. Then we got ready to start the fire pit.

But before we did I had to vandalize it with a piece of charcoal.

And then we started a little fire and we saw a spider wandering around
our pit and Kelly picked it up and tossed it somewhere else and it
became someone else's problem. BUT STILL I'VE NEVER SEEN A SPIDER
AT THE BEACH BEFORE.

We cooked a couple of hot dogs with the hot dog holder which
people kept failing at keeping the hot dogs IN the hot dog
cooker. We lost so many hot dogs in the fire that night....

Kelly brought this can of sand that was called Rainbow something
and if you sprinkle it over your flame it turns it rainbow so we
tested this out.

POOF. You could see all the colors of the rainbow. The greens and purple
were mainly at the bottom of the fire.

So the twelve of us just sat around the fire and talked and
had a good time. Then it was like around 9pm or something and
the group of people next to our pit were leaving and they had
put something explosive in their fire pit before they left???
So we heard a loud BOOM and burning fire ashes flew up into the
air and landed all around their pit lol.

Then around 9:30 we heard some faint explosion noises and looked around and
then I was like lol is that the Disneyland fire work and Robert looks up and was like
yup there it is and we all stood up and we could actually see the Disneyland fireworks
from the beach haha it was awesome. Then at 10pm the beach security kicked us out so we
packed up and left. I hope we can plan another beach day!!!
But I'm going on a road trip next week with Kelly, Christina, and
her twin sister Catherine up to Northern California. The farthest
we're going to go is San Francisco but we're going to stop
at San Jose and Monterey and go the aquarium there and then
on our way back we're stopping at the Winchester HAUNTED HOUUUUSE
I'M EXCITED. I'll try to take as many picture and HOPE that
something paranormal happens hahahaha.

Anime Expo and Fourth of July

Wee! Just got back from two days at Anime Expo. Also best 4th of July ever...

So to AX started Thursday and ended today but I didn't go all four
days cause i'm lazy and I didn't want to pay that much for parking.
I live like 15 minutes away from it (if I go 80 on the freeway lol)
I was just going to go on Sunday and didn't plan on going on Thursday
but I woke up Thursday morning and just randomly decided that I'll go.
So I get there and I try to find people so I called C4tspajamas/Cat but
she said she was at the hotel a few blocks away taking a nap cause
they had been running around at the convention all morning and told me
to call Axelai/Rachelle since she was still here but at a Pokemon gathering
and it took me a while to find it and eventually I did see the massive
gathering of Pikachus sitting on a wall.

cosplayers showed up and I just kinda left the pokemon gathering and followed
them instead haha.

After that Rachelle and I headed inside and looked around Artist
Alley and I saw alot of my friends and classmates there selling their
work and then I saw these two Silent Hill nurse costumes and I was like
I wonder if I know them....so I looked closely at the back of one
of their ears and saw a familiar tattoo on her neck and I was like
YES IT'S PING AND CHRISTINE.

I didn't take these but these are them.

Then Cat called us and told us where to find them and she
was with skratch234/Kody and robozombiekitten/Chelsea and we headed
outside and waited in line for the bus to take us back to their hotel
but while waiting Chelsea had an asthma attack and wasn't feeling well
and we wanted her to get back safely so Cat asked if there's anything
she can do and Kody said that Chels just needs a little bit of caffeine
so when we got to the hotel Cat and I made a MAD DASH to the bar and the
shops looking for Mountain Dew and then we finally found some and ran
back to the elevator, up to the 25th floor, and ran down the halls
and into the room. While Cat made her way to help Chelsea I was
approached by a 3 people at once going "omg Immy? Is that Immy?
Omg it's Immy!" And I was like ^_^' hello yes it is i. Can't
remember all their dA names right now but one of them
was bohemian-moon! And they were all so nice except Rachelle's
bf who would come creepily close to my face. Haha no he's cool.
But he'd be like "Are you Immy?....Are you...Imagec0rrupt3d?" And I'd
be like O.O yes. yes i am. And we just kind stuck around the hotel
for a couple of hours and we were stalking people below us in
the pool and we were stalking this big guy in this red shirt.

And then we placed Cat's pikachu and Rachelle's Raichu on the window
and so they stalked people as well.

And Chelsea was feeling a lot better and she showed me a drawing
that she did of me and her together ^_^

And I don't know how she does it but when ever I'm not looking
she'd lift my plaid skirt to see what underwear I'm wearing
and KLSGHDJKFGHDFKJGHDFG I DON'T KNOW HOW BUT I NEVER NOTICE WHEN
SHE DOES THAT?????? SHE DID IT LIKE 5 TIMES AND PEOPLE WOULD JUST
LOOK AT ME AND BE LIKE UM...IMMY? And I'd be like what? and look
down and there was Chelsea with her head up my skirt and I'd
be like KDFJGHKDSHGUSRHFDJKGHKFJHGKFGHFGH
HOW DID I NOT FEEL/NOTICE THAT?????? A ninja she is.....a true ninja.....

So we chilled out, had some pizza, stalked people in the pool,
watched some you tube videos, and poked each other silly. And
for those who have spoken to me in person you'll know that
I have TERRIBLE hearing. I can hear a mouse squeak from a
couple of yards away but I MISINTERPRET what people say
to me SO BAD. So when Rachelle's bf was tickling her and
she asked me to use my Magical Powers to stop him I
somehow heard Menstrual Powers which just made it
more interesting xD Cat, Chelsea, Kody and I made our
way down to the 4th floor of the hotel to the Gaia
dance party and we danced there a bit and then head
back up and Kody pointed out the warning sign in the elevator.

Then we came back to the hotel room and chilled a bit
and Chelsea actually got Cat into a corset haha too bad
I didn't take snapshots of that. And then they're like
oh we're going to a rave later and I'm like oh i've been
to a rave and they're not really my thing so I'm gonna
take off and see you guys sunnndaaayyyyy and then
masterofraviel showed up and we're like OH HAY LOL.

I'm surprised I didn't see that many Kingdom Hearts cosplays this year.
I saw like two axels and a good amount of soras, roxas, namine, and kairi
but didn't see too many org members. Saw a sitar with no Demyx and I saw
ONE Marluxia. And one Larxene. I was totally expecting a bunch of
org13 members with their gag weapons. Oh god that would have been
priceless to see.

So the next day my friend Kelly called and asked what I was
doing that night for the 4th of July and I was like...nothing
so she was like oh i'll kidnap you and we can go see the
Disneyland firework at our friend, Robert's, house and I was like
yay CB so we get there and Robert and his friends were chilling
watching an Angels baseball game that was going on like 3 miles from
where we were and we can see the stadium from their rooftop. And then
up there around 9 and we had a reallly nice view. There were firework
shows going on all around us and then we looked at the Angel stadium
and they had won so they started their firework show and around the
same time Disney started theirs and they were pretty close together
so we could see them both standing in one place. Though I have to say
the baseball fireworks were a little better. I think Dland extended
their firework show for the 4th of July they also added red and blue
star shaped fireworks but the baseball game had that too PLUS sperm
fireworks. Srsly. It's fire work that flies up and looks and wriggles like
sperm it's hilarious. After that we headed back downstairs and played
with the wii but then I was more interested in the pet rats that
they had.

Aw my fav. one, Elfie. She was so cute and chubby and a little
attention whore. I was sitting in the chair in front of the cage and I
looked back at them and Elfie comes running towards me and stuck her
nose out of the cage bawwww

I got to hold her and play with her CB

I fed her some nacho chips and put her in my shirt and let her wander around xD
She seemed to enjoy that.

Then I played some Smash Brother Brawl, Mario Kart Racing, and Star Wars on the wii
and then Kelly and I left around midnight. The I woke up next morning early to
do my hair for my lolita cosplay and then I went to pick up Kelly and we drove
to AX and when we got there we met up with our friend Tony and he was like
you know there is a Pedobear running around....
and I was like....i need to see this.
And this random guy DECIDES to join in our conversation but he doesn't even like
CONTINUE the conversation. He was apparently dressed up as his Naruto OC. And
we went on and on and on about it and he was mainly directing himself towards
Tony cause he knows more about anime and poor Tony would look at me every once
in a while and give me a "oh god make him stop talking" look xD and then Tony
turned to me and was like hey you know Mana was here and I got to escort him?
(Tony works as a staff at AX) and I was like LSKRJGHKFJGHDFGDFGKL YES I KNEW
HE WAS HERE AND NO I DID NOT KNOW YOU GOT TO ESCORT HIMMM. TELL ME. IS HE
AS PRETTY IN PERSON AS HE IS ON SCREEN AND IN PICTURES?????????? and Tony is
like well he was wearing a big hat and glasses so it was hard to tell. And
then that naruto guy STARTS TALKING again but not about Mana. No. HE GOES
BACK TO TALKING ABOUT HIS OC AND HOW HE GOT HIS COSTUME? IT'S LIKE...WE DON'T
CARE. YOUR COSTUME IS NOTHING SIGNIFICANT NOR DOES IT LOOK VERY NICE OR
PUT TOGETHER. JUST PLEASE STOP TALKING TO US. aauuurrrggghhh. Too bad none of
us were blunt or forward enough to say that to him. Eventually he left and we
just kinda stayed behind so then the three of us started talking and this old
guy with a camera comes out from behind this pillar and took a picture of me
and I was like kasjdhgkdjhfgdfg that was creepy, you're like 50, not dressed up
and you didn't ask to take a picture of me...what are you going to do with
that picture? Please don't fap to it like the guys at Comic Con last year....

Anyways Tony had to get back to work and Kelly and I didn't have badges to
get into the dealers hall (where you can buy things) so we headed up stairs
and chilled until we found some friends who had two extra passes that they
can lend us. And while we were waiting I caught a glimpse of these two:

Tails and Knuckles. They were quite the attraction since people kept
trying to get picks of them.

The Kelly's friend Brian found us and was like oh hey we have badges
you guys can use since we're all pooped out and already did everything we
wanted to do so Brian gave me his badge and Kelly got his friend's badge
whose name I can't remember but I do remember we had a hard time pronouncing it.
So yeah we were guys for the day since our badges said so. But they don't really
check the name on the badge, just that you have one. So we went in and
walked around Artist Alley so I could go bother some people I know and then
we met up with Cat, Chels, Kody, and their friend and we just wondered around
looking at stuff people were selling and Chels stopped by the yuri booth and
I played with Cat's pikachu and her fox tail haha and then Rachelle met up
with us and then we just chilled at the convention lobby waiting for people
to show up and we took some pix.

but has failed due to the insane amount of ruffles in my skirt but she actually

I was like damn it I didn't even think you can see it but apparently Chelsea is
a ninja.

And this other guy (around 30 or 40 years old) taps me and asks me for a picture
and he was like OH YEAH I WAS EYEING YOU SEVERAL HOURS AGO WHILE YOU WERE UPSTAIRS
AND I COULDN'T FIND YOU AFTER WARDS BUT I WANT A PICTURE OF YOU
and I was like skjhdkfjghfdkgjhdf creeeeppyyyyy but okayyyyyy.

And then some more people showed up and they had to part their ways
so we said our goodbyes and I took pix of some people and Rachelle's
BF wanted me to take a pic of him but he was frowning so I was like
SMILE and he gives me this derp derp face

Aw I'm gonna miss seeing them. I'll have to wait until next year >.<
Then I hugged Cat and everyone else and then I drove Kelly home where her parents

Thanks to those who defended me in my last post when my mom
lashed out on my art. I think she was having a pms moment, she did
apologize after wards. Anyways for those who didn't know I took my
cousin to Dland last week and then went the day after and then I said
I was going on Saturday to celebrate my friend's birthday
(which my mom knew) she flipped her lid and said I couldn't go and
started saying how my art sucks and that I should stay home and work
on that and I was like whoa wtf where'd that come from? After a long
argument we reached an agreement and I said that I'll start drawing
more and open commissions to pay back the money I spent on driving,
parking, and eating there and I won't go to Dland at all in July
(my pass is blacked out the whole month anyway so if i go I have to
pay $40 on those days which I really don't want to do) and she let
me go to my friend's birthday on Saturday.

So before all that drama started I took my cousin to Dland on Tuesday
We took pictures with Mickey and Pluto and then we hit Space Mountain
which was really funny seeing her freak out on but it ended up being her
favorite ride by the end of the day. I don't have too many pics from this
day since we took most of the pics on her camera. And I bought these
clip on minnie ears for me and her

and I swear the instant you wear them it's like people are nicer to you all of a sudden...
or ....you know creepy old men just wanna let you stand in front of them in line so that they
can look at you...that happened like twice. At first I thought these ears had magic abilities.

We did see the new Celebrate parade that they had. I was really disappointed
though. I thought it was going to be like the old parades I use to watch
where like each disney movie had their own float. Like Simba was on
the Lion King float, Jasmine and Aladdin had their own float and
Ariel was in a giant snowglobe. BUT THIS WAS NOTHING LIKE THAT.
it like...barely moves and when they move it's like 20 feet per 30 minutes
i'm just like........what is this. It was 4 floats with dancers and characters
and like a DJ on one of them and it was a parade dedicated to people
who are celebrating their birthday, family vacation, summer vacation,
anniversary, etc., Oh it was so boring.

alkdfjghdsfg should have taken the pictures of the petting zoo with my
camera but yeah Dland has a little petting zoo but the only animals
you can pet are the goats.... And apparently the world's happiest
turkey lived there. He didn't look very happy. But he was lovely and had
shining clean white feathers.
Speaking of creatures we found crawfish in the dland pond.

They have little fish also. I think its to feed the ducks??

I think we hit most of the major rides excluding Splash Mountain which I haven't
gone on this year and then my friends Kelly and Robert met up with us and
had dinner at the ESPN zone and then went back into the park to watch the
fireworks and it was almost canceled due to *high winds* but they still continued
the show and after than we rushed over the Fantasmic and it was delayed for
20 minutes due to *high winds* and the whole crowd started doing The Wave
to pass time lol.

Well yeah after that we went home and I woke up really early the next day
and came back again with Kelly but this time we just hit up Dland California Adventures
to mainly just collect the smashed penny souveniers that we haven't collected
yet but first I was like LET'S GO ON THAT TOY STORY RIIIIIIIDE I'M GONNA
BEAT YOOUUUUUUU BWRAHAHA and I was so weak and tired from running
around for 16 hours the day before that I actually LOST. I LOST. BY 20,000 POINTS. WHAT
THE HECKTHAT'SNEVERHAPPENEDBEFORE. and I was like REMAAATTTCCCCCHHHH
but the line was long so i was like meh. Though it would probably be a really
good idea to down two cans of energy drink before going on that ride.
And then it started getting warm and Kellys like hey let's go on that white water
river rafting ride and I was like oh I've never been on it
and she's like GAAASSSPPPPPPPPPPP OKAY I'M MAKING YOU GO ON IT
and I was like....D8 i don't feel like getting soaked....and she's like DOESN'T
MATTER YOU ARE GOING ON IT.

So I was determined to stay as dry as possible on that ride that I ducked at the
spraying stream of water and it hit Kelly over the heart and she was like

WHY DIDN'T YOU TAKE THE BULLET FOR MEEEE YOU LET IT
HIT ME IN THE HEARRRRT D8>
and I was like ha ha ha ha ha but then came the first waterfall
and I got soaked and she just got splashed on -__-

after the ride I was just a big uncomfortable mess. If I'd known
I was going on this ride I would've brought an extra pair of
underwear...
I had to pat myself dry with paper towels and sit on cushioned
chairs to get all the water out. Eventually I was dry and we went
to have pasta and then I was feeling very drowsy and lethargic so
we went home at like 3pm

On Saturday my friend Jihye kinkyaziankitty and her bf, Angel
drove to my house and then from there I drove us to Dland.
we went on Small World first since Jihye doesn't like rollercoasters
and then we went on pirates and haunted
mansion and the whinnie the pooh ride only because I wanted
to show them how much of an ACID TRIP that ride is. Then after
that Laura mytsie and her friend, Heather met up with us and we
had lunch and went on Space Mountain (lunch + rollercoaster= great combo)
but the line was 40 minutes so we had time to digest but Jihye refused to
go on so she waited in line with us and when we were getting on the
ride she waited for us at the exit and then we all went to Fantasyland
and got on Storybook boat and Laura and her friend left to
work on con stuff. So Jihye, Angel, and I hopped on the monorail
then went on Star Tours and I didn't know what the hell
internet memes were when I was little which was the last time
I rode on Star Tours but I saw Admiral Ackbar there

We went on Buzzlight Year's Astro Blasters and Angel,
being the gamer that he is, pwn'd mine and jihye's score
COMBINED.

After that we were just pondering on what to do and I was
like "Hey guys.....wanna go to hell? Wanna go see Satan?"
and they're looking at me like o_O what? So I take them
on the Mr. Toads Wild Ride where we die and go to hell
and see Satan. Oh that ride.

So we stuck around Fantasy land and went on the Pinocchio ride
which I've never been on before and we see this single chinese
puppet in a cage and he had like that rice worker hat on and his
eyes were just two lines and I was like LOL

Then we hit up the Casey train and then just sat in front of the castle
and people watched for a bit, got hungry went to grab pasta and then
hopped aboard the Disney train and went to go find a seat for Fantasmic.
They still didn't have giant Dragon Malificent D8
and then we watched the firework show from there and then hopped
on Jungle Cruise. And I guess someone had
asked about the Malificent in Fantasmic before we got on and our
skipper was like oh that I can't say what happened or something and
then we left the dock into the darkness and he was like okay no one
is here I can tell you what happened. Her head fell off. and I yelled
WHAT?????
So she's in repair adkljghdskfjhgkjfhfh I wonder
what people's reactions were who saw that happen.

Happy Papa's Day!
My mom and I went to the mall today to find a gift for my dad
we got him two polo shirts and then my mom's like hey wanna
get your ears pierced since you know...your last one closed up?
kljghddsfjh the last time I wore my earrings was 2 months ago
and I'm surprised my ears have completely healed itself because
i've gone longer than 2 months without wearing earrings and could
still put my earrings in but for some reason it's closed up so
I'm like sure okay and we walk to Claire's and out of no where

Mom: Hey have you seen that vampire..thing? That movie that all
the kids are watching these days?
Me: ...You mean Twilight? No
Mom: Yeah I hear that's all the rage

EDIT: My folks are watching Twilight right now...I think they've wanted
to watch it for a while since both has asked if i've seen it or wanted to
see it with them. Funny my parents want to see Twilight more than I do.

and another girl and her family came in after me and I guess
she was going to get her first piercing and she was scared that
it was gonna hurt so her and her whole family just stared at
me while I got my ears pierced...it was more uncomfortable
being watched by strangers than it was actually getting my
ears pierced. Like everytime the girl put the piercing gun
on my ear they'd like LEAN FORWARD and just watch my
reaction or something...it was CREEPY. But it doesn't
hurt that much so my face was just :|

Yay now I can wear the peace earrings that zombieirish sent me a few

And all my tadpoles grew into frogs! So now I have 4 frogs and I
can't find the handicap one. Her left foot never grew out so I called
her Gimpy lol. I hope she's alright I haven't seen her in a while D:
She might be hiding cause the other frog's teasing????? I always see
the other frogs out and they grew pretty fast.

Ugh I have to re-name them because I lost track of which tadpoles
became which frog. But each has something different about them so
it won't be too hard to tell them apart.
